Description
This is an antique English pearlware plate with a blue feather edge, matching sherds we’ve dug on early frontier sites in the Greenbrier Valley. These may have come from Leeds, England, and are rare. These are plates which we know were used on the Virginia frontier, and have been found at Byrnside’s Fort, and at Monticello. But don’t expect to see these at your local antique shop. Believe me, I’ve looked…
Sherds are for display and not included.
