French Horn-Handled Knife (Sold)

Out of stock

This is an old butcher-style knife, which I would guess to be 18th century to early 19th century. I assume it to be French, given the marking, which I haven’t identified. It was also common to use horn handle scales on French-made knives. It’s extremely well-made, and has been well-used. It is in great condition for its age, but please see for yourself in the photos, as to the exact condition. It’s solid and well-marked. It’s actually very rare to find these early marked knives. A sweet antique knife.
