Antique Fur Hide Hunting Bag and Powder Horn (SOLD)

This is an original fur hide leather hunting bag, with a fur flap in the front, with the original powder horn, still attached to it.  Actually it’s still attached on the left side, and just tied with a leather string on the right side.  This has survived in great condition, and still has some of the original fur on it.

The bag itself was handsewn, and has come apart in places, which is not unusual with these old bags.  Most did not survive at all.

This particular bag came out of Illinois, where it has been in a collection for the past 20 years, as per the person I purchased it from.
