Description
This is an authentic frontier-style blacksmith made knife known as a “Pig Sticker.” These are rarely-found knives which far-predated the Bowie Knife era. No hand guard whatsoever; kind of a dagger, double edged style homemade blade. Common during the Revolutionary War era, and likely before. Possibly made by a frontier blacksmith. This came out of Virginia. OAL of about 11″ and a blade length of about 6″.
