18th Century Shoe Buckle Dug in New York (SOLD)
$115.00
This is an 18th century Artois style colonial shoe buckle which was dug in upstate New York. Â These became popular in the 1770’s through the 1780’s. Â I’ve personally found an example in the Greenbrier Valley, which was then the deep frontier. Â This is an exceptionally well preserved example. Â Brass frame with iron insert. Â It’s complete and still functions!
